Maritime Law
Our Maritime Law area is led by our founding partner Enrique Villalobos.
This area of practice is focused on defending and representing our clients in any matter arising from the activity of maritime transport and logistics, including claims for damage to cargo or caused by cargo, claims against marine insurance or civil liability, liens on ships or vessels, as well as the practice of maritime arbitration before the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) and the International Court of Arbitration (ICC), among other international forums.
Our specialty is on the representation of our clients in maritime accidents and claims, such as salvage, boarding, general average, legal actions arising from the berthing contract. In addition, in support of our Environmental Law area, we have sufficient professional experience in the management of eventual maritime and/or coastal border contamination.
Our main clients develop export activities, operation of port terminals, maritime and logistics trade.
